Welcome to a long overdue episode of Talking on My Eyes.

I'm going to listen to that one and you'll know exactly what drove me from push car into the desert to the west to Giselle mayor.

The end of the road, the end of the train, the last bus stop, the last everything after Giselle mayor.

It's just empty desert to get to Pakistan.

And that was a very militarized border as you'll hear.

Anyway, before I get into that story, I just thought I'd talk a little bit about what's going on right now

because it's weighing kind of heavily on my mind to be honest.

Those of you who listen to this podcast with any regularity probably know who Justin Alexander is.

He's a hardcore traveler. I've had on a few times.

First time I think we were in Portland. He came through and and then I don't know if we did another one in LA or I think we did.

I seem to remember going down to the beach on his motorcycle and recording one in LA.

But in a case then then Cassie and I saw him in Thailand and we spent probably four or five weeks with him in Thailand.

We were in Chiang Mai.

Rented motorcycles, rode up into the mountains, went to a village called Pi.

Hang out, hung out up there together and then we were back in Chiang Mai for a while.

He was going to come down and visit us on an island we were staying on in southern Thailand with Viram.

There's another episode. Those of you who remember Viram and his walk through Pakistan with the donkey.

I wanted to introduce Viram in Justin because they have a lot in common.

But Justin couldn't come down because he had a thing going on with his adoptive Thai family.

I think his brother was entering the monkhood so he sort of had to stay around for those ceremonies and wanted to be part of that which is totally understandable.
