Before we start, clearly I need to publish a retraction since I have unleashed a wave

Last time we started on Henry's descent to the Underworld of Fear and Suspicion, Despair

I promised we would continue on this path, but before that we should have some sunshine

in our lives that has paused in the anti-room of the ill, tired and obsessive king and

instead see how the younger generation was getting on.

Since the death of his older brother, Henry had been increasingly brought into the limelight

right under his father's protective eye.

By 1507, Prince Henry was 16.

We'll spend much, much more time talking about Henry's character as 6 and so on when

he started his reign, so I'm not going to go on about it now.
