Welcome in, everyone, to this week's edition of the Deer Hunter podcast.

And this will be our third installment of the miniseries that we're carrying here throughout this summer on the Rompola Buck.

This week's episode features Troy Pottinger.

You may have heard him before.

He's done other podcasts interviews on Whitetail Experience, Wired to Hunt.

I'm not sure which other ones he's been on, but I've heard Troy speak before. He reached out to me a few weeks ago, said he had some things that he would

like to say to me about his relationship with Mitch Rompola. I have a lot of, I had a lot of

general interest in Troy before he reached out to me about this

just because he's a big woods deer hunter and he does it on a very big landscape and I've

been very interested to talk to him and have him on the podcast. And we will have him on again

in short order to cover some more specific hunting topics in depth, but this

episode we stayed, I say we stayed pretty well on track, feared off where we needed to hit a

couple little rabbit holes of some deer hunting tactics, things that he learned from Mitch

that he's implemented and killed big deer with. This is an outstanding podcast.

Like far exceeded my expectations going into this conversation. I really didn't know what to

expect, but I was caught up almost towards the end of it, like just caught off guard by the,

when all the all the um it was the debacle over the big deer developed and I don't know how you couldn't think that it would have some type of impact.
