Now before we get into today's interview with the brilliant Gretchen Rubin,

I want to just say a few words about this unusual time that we're in.

So last week I shared about the coronavirus support guide that we created over at Marie4lio.com slash blog

and this week we actually decided to go back to some of our regularly scheduled programming

and we're doing this for two reasons.

First, because I honestly do not believe it's healthy to talk about the pandemic or focus on

it 100% of the time.

But second, most importantly importantly things are so different right now. This

experience is really prompting us to think differently about our lives and our

homes and what we want to accomplish in the future when this thing passes and I

promise you it will pass so we're looking at everything from a new and fresh

lens. Finally one other note you'll notice that we actually don't mention the coronavirus at all during this conversation,

and it's because we recorded this interview before the global pandemic hit.

So if you're listening to this while you're cleaning your house or you're cooking

dinner or walking your dog or taking care of your kiddos or I don't know maybe even just

pacing around your apartment, I really do hope that you're going to enjoy this
