When I see the first crocus come up or when I see the first chipmunk come out, I say it's spring. That's my marker too. It's interesting. Coming from San Diego, you don't pay attention per se because the seasons aren't as important there but here you see those crocus you see those snow dabs you know it's on and by the time the the yellow flowers are poking up there,

you know you're well underway.
