Our film review is after midnight. After midnight was released in 2019, it is 5.3 out of 10 on

IMDB and 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. Following a 10-year relationship, Hank's girlfriend breaks up

with him while trying to cope. He must also confront a monster that tries to attack him.

This week I requested on Instagram that people tell me they're what they think are the most

underrated horror films and I'm going to try and work my way through them for the film reviews.

It's saved as a highlight on my Instagram page if you want to go check it out. There's lots of good

film recommendations in there and I've put a brief synopsis with every film wreck so that you kind of

can get an idea of what it's about and I chose this one for this this week mostly because I

loved the art for this film which is a very shallow and purely aesthetic reason to pick something

and I also liked the synopsis you know. So let's get into the likes and dislikes. Now I had no idea

what to expect from this film aside from the synopsis. In my head, I thought it was going to be like

something really cerebral and that you would be questioning the whole way through

is this monster real or is he suffering some sort of emotional breakdown because of the breakdown

of his relationship and that's the kind of kind of film that I thought it was going to be and I

was kind of wrong. So in terms of my likes column like this film was surprisingly funny like it is

genuinely well written and hilarious and it's kind of a very entertaining look at the complexities
