There's a lot of highs, but there's also some deep blows.

And what you want to do obviously,

stay out of those deep lows as much as possible,

but they will come, and so you kind of got to fight that adversity

and you can't just sit there and pat about it and feel sorry for yourself. You know you got to go do something about it whether it's getting in the cages

You know talking to someone just getting your mind right getting on to the next the next

Sometimes things are just out of our control and for Jake's Borphin he knows about it all too well. His senior baseball season of high school was canceled due to COVID-19 and his first college wasn't a fit.

So he transferred to Arkansas and then in his first year with the razorbacks he suffered a freak injury that cut into his playing time.

And I learned a lot about myself, it's just being a teammate and just being a guy that guys can come

to me or I can help them out who are playing, being an aid to them in any way.

And so it just put a new perspective

on a baseball player and how to go through like tough times

and it's only made me better, I feel like.

Orphan has certainly made the most of his junior season,

leading the team in home runs

and becoming a fixture in the razorback lineup.
