always by Jared Edd. Hi. How's it going, Jared Edd? Good. We're a little tired. Yeah, it's

been a hell of a week. Why do I always say that in these podcasts? Well, you're an old man.

Hi, your words and mine. It's 10 a.m. on a Saturday. So our cocktail of the week is Jared

Edd's coffee. Jared Edd, all right. So Jared Edd makes pour over coffee and he's got this whole

little setup that I don't entirely understand. I do not make coffee. It involves incantations, jigs,

and tactical delay. So a couple of weeks ago, I was up in Maryland to go to my cousin's wedding.

And my mom was also going to the wedding. I actually went to her date. I wasn't invited. So I

snuck in as my mom's date. Plus one. As a plus one. Yeah, my dad didn't want to go. I wanted to go

so it worked out. So she was staying at the Maryland house with me and she's a big coffee drinker and

I'm like, well, this is what we have. We just have a big coffee machine that made 10 cups at a time,

but I think we got rid of it. We also had a curry at some point that we got rid of. We had a single cup

with a little pods. Did we? 100% yes. Pods? Yeah. You were a pod coffee drinker for a while.

At the office because it was free. We had pod thing at home. Anyway, so now we've got this setup from

if there's a kettle and then there's a weird plastic device that sometimes holds the coffee and

sometimes shoots coffee out of the bottom. It's a funnel. Where? But you put the coffee

seeps in it. Yes, it touches the water. So we get all this equipment out and we're looking at it.

I was like, this is what we have. Good luck, good luck, mom.

She's like, how do you get the coffee out of the thing? I'm like, I'm not sure. I'm like,

this, if you push it, this thing moves. I'm not sure. So I think I had bought you a

pour over coffee to go bottle. So basically has like a little metal basket for the coffee.

And then it turned, we did eventually figure out you pour the coffee over that and it goes into
