Scientists say they have connected three brains,

human brains together.

And I was like, oh that's interesting.

Yeah, not quite like that.

They just hooked up some electrodes and had people play a simple game of Tetris

using stimuli from all three brains to solve problems together.

They're like, look how smart we'll be when we can... three brains to solve problems together.

They're like, look how smart we'll be when we can group problem solve.

Hmm.

Hey, scientists, I don't know if you notice something,

but we don't actually get smarter when we're hooked together like that.

You know a group is capable of being way dumber than individuals.

That's true.

There's such a thing as conventional wisdom or group wisdom, it's true, but also have you

noticed that group think what people were capable of when they're around each other

is also far, far, far, far worse than we just leave it to ourselves.
