Hope everybody is having had a good week and are about ready for the weekend.

Today we're going to be talking about the Kansas City Royals and their farm system. And I mean, I think I'm speaking to the

Kansas City Royals fans right now. You can't take a look at this system in isolation.

It's a bit down because you have to take a look at what's

happened over the last three years.

I'm going to go back and take a look at last year's list.

And at the top of the list is Bobby Witt Jr.

and M.J. Melendez.

Bobby Witt Jr. is going to get some rookie of the year votes.

M.J. Melendez might.

So we're talking two of the best young players in the league were promoted out of that system.

And that all is going to play in their major leagues for the next, assuming, well, they might try to sign Bobby Witt Jr.

to a team friend of the, or maybe both of them.

So that, you know, they've got them for longer than six years or seven years.

But that's at least, well, they're probably a Wood Jr. for six and Melendez for seven years before they hit free agency.

And that counts.
