Thanksgiving is done. Christmas is done.

New Year's.

Done. You made it. You survived. Breathe. However, down here where I'm at, we're not quite done yet.

We now are in the season of Mardi Gras. If you're not familiar with Mardi Gras, basically it's the season to eat boiled fish bait

and throw beated projectiles and drunk strangers yelling at you as you dry by death traps they

call floops.

But seriously, it's a time to eat some delicious crawfish, which, by the way, for the first time in five years, we've had a wet and hot winter, which means monster-sized crawfish with lower prices.

My southern people, you know what I'm talking about.

And on top of that, we have the endless Montagueira parades.

By now up here in Northeast Texas, they have like 50 parades in the next two months.

But for the rest of y'all, breathe.
