And today, Les is going to give us some perspective. You know, it's been like a really weird year this year for me.

And just a lot of weird stuff has happened. And every so often I have to stop and just kind of check myself and say, is it really that bad? Right. Is it

really that bad? Like, I mean, it could be a whole lot worse than this, Sean. Is it really,

really that bad? And usually the answer is no. Like, it sucks a little bit. It's real,

but in the grand scheme of things, it's really not that bad.

This is light work, again, in the grand scheme of things.

And so Les Brown's going to share a story about maintaining a positive, optimistic spirit, even when life seems like it's getting the best of us.

Anytime somebody asked me how I'm doing, I say I'm doing better than good and better than most.

And sometimes even better than that.

Let me tell you where I got that from.

When I was involved in broadcasting, I used to have the first hour of my show as a disc jocke in Columbus, Ohio.

I used to give an inspirational program.

And there was a lady that used to call me by the name of Audrey Pelmore.

Audrey worked at University Hospital.

Audrey was an enthusiastic personality that everybody liked her.

I mean, she had a radiant smile, and she was just one of those people.

You ever meet one of those people that everybody just liked them?

She was one of those kind of folks.

Audrey became stricken with muscular sclerosis at a very young age.
