As we are winding down our gardens for the year, well, depending on where you live,

you may be interested in saving your own seats.

Now, we have actually talked about this subject in other podcast episodes before.

But I wanted to talk a little bit more specific about some things that we could do with certain

plants that we're trying to save seed from to ensure our seed saving success.

And to do that, I have brought onto the show today, the authors of the guides for the prairie

gardener, Janet Melrose and Cheryl Normando.

They have written these four guides that I have found so helpful

in so many different ways. And in one particular book, they addressed different ways to successfully

seed save. And that's what I thought would be a perfect topic for us to discuss today. So if you have

any interest in saving any of your own seeds, not even all of them, but just a few,

I think you will find their information to be very, very helpful as you explore this for your

own garden.

Because not too far away, we're going to start planning and buying our seeds for the next

season.

seed pack, no big deal, but when you multiply that, it really adds up. So not only can this be a good

way to save some of your favorite plant seeds, but also save you money in the long run. So let's dive
