Hello, whinabers my name is Jesse Meekham and this is podcast number 205 for

why now where we teach you four rules to help you stop living paycheck to

paycheck get out of debt and save more money. Our third rule could be called

change your mind. We say rolling with the punches, you

roll with the punches as things happen you just adjust your budget and move along.

Rolling with the punches has not gotten all the attention it deserves. The new WANAB actually gives it a lot more sway, a lot more weight. And we like that. We like for people to be able to adjust and prioritize as things really happen and not kind

of sweep things under the rug, financially speaking.

But changing your mind, that idea is not good if you're in in a big way as it relates to directly

importing transactions. I don't remember the details of it exactly but I'm sitting there with our chief experience officer

Adam and Taylor our chief technology officer and we were talking about how we

wouldn't want to connect to banks because it kills awareness.

And that was kind of a party line that we had.

And then Adam said, well, walk me through your workflow.

I said, well, I pull up Wine Ab when I'm reconcil reconciling and I log into each of my bank accounts.

There's two, two different banks and three different accounts and I download those transactions

into files and then I go back to

Wineb and I click the import button and then I find the file and I

import it and then once it's imported it pops in pretty nice and

payees are cleaned up and I make sure they're categorized correctly and I just

make sure everything's reconciled and yeah it keeps me aware and Adam kind of

proposal like why don't we have you do that same exact workflow but you just don't have to go through

the tedium of going to each of your banks and downloading that separate file and initiating
