At a young age it's hard to learn that you have to put so much work in to get to something when you're that little. I mean a lot of parents who just put their kids on a new team and but it taught me to work for something that I really wanted and if I wanted it that bad that I was going to have to work

my butt off to get it. Yeah I remember I'd get in the game the car after every weekend and I would cry.

I'm like, this is awful why am I not playing and my parents like well look at all the girls in front of you like they're they're way better than you like that's why you're not playing and so then it was just like they're like know, you can either go play on another team that's not as good, or you can go to practice every day, work hard, put in the extra work and you can get to where they're at. For their entire lives, Hannah and Lauren Kamenzen have been tied together.

So it's no surprise, they're both having an impact on the razorback softball team as true freshman. And Kaminson strikes her out for a second time of the game.

Their decision to come to Arkansas as a package deal was pretty easy and as it turns out

Fayetteville feels a lot like home. We're from a small town in Nebraska,

and so just we have a cornfield in our front yard

and just knowing that like it's still a small town field

when we're here and it wasn't a big city that we're coming to and it still felt like home.

I were here at the same time.

It wasn't like we were jumping in like LA or something like that.

It was still gave us that country small town that we're used to.

But their path to get to this point hasn't always been easy.

In fact, early on, they wondered if they'd even be good enough to play softball.

When we started on our first team, we never played.

And I just remember like, we never stepped on the field, like ever.
