here, live on the internet. A lot of news suddenly popped off like all of a sudden here this morning uh just a bunch of a bunch of little stories um it's been uh i guess a handful of days here that i have been screwing around with the Steam controller

seen here in my hands. If you're not watching, I'll describe it to you. I'll paint a word

picture. It's a video game controller. Yeah.

The Steam controller is really, really cool and

very, very specific.

It is

not really

it is somewhat hard to recommend depending on what you do

with uh video games on your PC now the

the they are not fucking around when they call it a steam controller that's what they

mean it's a controller for use within Steam.

Outside of Steam, uh, if you're launching games, say from the Xbox app, if that's your bag, baby,

um, or you're playing, you know, emulators or, or whatever, uh, the Steam controller is not going to really work for you.

It is basically, it rings up as a keyboard.

When you plug it into other devices, like say the mister.

And basically, outside of Steam, it'll do things like, oh, the d pad is is kind of automatically built to work like arrow keys and the right mouse pad here is is built to work like a mouse uh your your r2 trigger is is built for the like your left mouse click and so it is kind of built as a keyboarded mouse.

And outside of steam, that's exactly what it is.

So when you plug it into, you know, even like loading it up on a retroarch on the PC,

plugging it in directly to a mister, the D pad works.
