Somewhere about April or May every year I leave the shop in the hands of my cousin and

take a two-week vacation in the Ozarks.

Our family has a 250 acre piece of land that's used for hunting mostly.

In my case, I just use it as a getaway from the stresses of modern life.

The area has very little in the way of conveniences like electricity.

One dirt and gravel road leads in and out.

At the end of this road sits a hundred-year-old log cabin, and this is where I spend my time.

Just me, my thoughts, and the beauty of nature to keep me company.

It's a routine I recommend to everyone.

I could carry on about how beneficial nature is all day, but that's not why I'm here.
