But before we get into the U.S. men's national team stuff,

this World Cup qualifying window, I think we should just

address right now what is the much bigger story in the soccer, in the universe generally.

And that would be the story that Meg Linnahan broke for the athletic regarding Paul Riley and some really

predatory behavior in the NWSL and throughout his coaching career.

If you haven't read that story, if you're following following us you're deep enough into the soccer

weeds that I'm sure you saw the story pop up on your timeline if you haven't read

it yet I definitely urge you to read that to get a sense of sort of what some of

these players are facing.

It's a really bad environment at times and we just want to sort of reiterate.

It's ridiculous that you have to, you know, say where you stand on these things,

but we stand with NWSL players and believe that these women should be safe to pursue

playing professional soccer without having to deal with these levels of

inappropriateness.

Yeah, given the power dynamics that these players face,

they need the league to be much more responsive to these types of concerns and do a better job of protecting them from people like Paul Riley.

So, to the U.S. men's national team, Greg, how are we going to rotate in this window?
