| 0:00.0 | Hi you guys, welcome to home with Habala podcast. I'm Habala Cunnington, your host. Welcome |
| 0:10.6 | to a brand new year. I know last week was our official first podcast of 2022, but this |
| 0:17.9 | whole month we're going to talk about fresh starts, fresh focus, and just clarity for |
| 0:23.4 | this next year. I mean, how many of you would have thought we'd be in 2022? 2020 was |
| 0:29.5 | pretty bad. 2021 was even a little more worse. And somebody said, can I see the small writing |
| 0:35.9 | of 2022 before I sign up to be there? It does have that sense. There's like, we don't |
| 0:41.1 | really know what's coming, but one thing I know is if you give your energy to your story, |
| 0:48.6 | what God has on your life, and you don't get consumed with the worries and the fears of |
| 0:53.9 | an entire community, but to actually just help the one in front of you, life gets way |
| 1:00.2 | easier and things get less complicated. And so this month, we decided to talk about |
| 1:05.5 | focus. You guys heard Sean talk about the focus course and the academy, and that's already |
| 1:10.8 | going on. And I hope a few of you were able to join that. That was a time sensitive invitation. |
| 1:16.7 | But I also invited some of the people that I love and respect that when I think about |
| 1:20.9 | focus and strategy and being strategic, well, there's a short list of people that I love |
| 1:27.9 | that are in my everyday life. Listen, I can see somebody on Instagram and think they live |
| 1:31.9 | a focus life. I have no idea. I mean, anybody can look focused, fit, healthy. So why we go, |
| 1:39.3 | oh, they're having a great life. They're great marriage. In the next month, you find out |
| 1:42.7 | they're not married anymore. It's, we can present. But one more in each other's lives, |
| 1:47.6 | we get to watch each other develop and grow. My respect grows way more for the people that |
| 1:53.3 | I do life with because I see them. And my brother-in-law, Daniel Giles, is one of those |
| 1:59.3 | men that I have really grown up with. I mean, really, we've been friends for almost 20 |
| 2:04.6 | years. He married my sister 16 years ago, dated her for a couple of years, year and a half. |
