Walk the Rates and Burrell, it's Tuesday, January 13th. It is the start of our position preview

series. We're going to begin today with short stops the way our position preview

series typically works. Eno and I go through all of the players at a position, or at least as

many of them as we reasonably can. We group them by average draft positions. We can talk about

them in the context of roster construction and what is actually happening in paid drafts right now over at the

NFBC. And hopefully we can paint a good picture of what you should or possibly should not do

as you're building rosters over the course of the next three months or so.

Eno, how's it going for you on this Tuesday? How pumped are you to kick off this series for

season number eight?

I'm excited. I feel a little bit more prepared than usual. I don't know why. Started my drafts a little early.

Started my prep a little early. The pitching ranks are already coming into focus. I'm just, you know, after a while, you get used to it and you start getting ahead of yourself and it's without trying too hard.

So I feel pretty good.

I think the draft and hold season's been a good thing over the years to get us a little more up to speed on the shape of positions.

Some of the what happens if you try to wait here and address a position later, all those

things kind of get answered in the form of a problem, which I find to be particularly

helpful.

But we're going to start at the top of the board as we always do.

These are short stops that are going to go within the first two rounds, typically, of a

15-team draft.
