Hello and welcome everybody to the Roto Wire Fantasy Baseball podcast.

Eric Olsen here with Todd Zola today.

That is half of the Roto Wire Roundtable rankings crew.

Hopefully I'll have Jeff Erickson and Clay Link on later this winter to discuss the same

rankings, which we will be updating throughout the off season.

I usually get in maybe five or six updates or so before play begins in late March.

And Todd will get to all that soon.

But good to have those out.

We've now officially given our take on 300 different players,

and we're probably immediately regretting

that take on at least a quarter of them. Some of them. Yeah, we'll see. I haven't had a chance

to really battle test my ranks yet. I'm in magazine mode, writing some profiles. I'm going to

sign up for a draft championship league, maybe sometime later this week. But my first test is just simply comparing it against my colleagues. So that's what we're going to be doing. Yeah, always interesting to think that you have a certain opinion on a player. You know, oh, I think I'm going to be in on this guy this year. Then you see, wait a second, everybody else has him two rounds ahead of me. I guess I'm not in on him after all. Then you got to figure out, okay, do I need to adjust my ranks? Or do I need to just realize I don't like this guy as much as I thought? I did. I'm sure we'll have some rankings adjustments based on that sort of thing as the offseason goes on. And as we get the chance to battle test, as you say,

normally I would have done a DC by now,

but I'm about to be gone for over a week and didn't want to delay everybody
