We talk about all things money mindset. We've got Robert G. Yavlan on this show today and you know I'll be honest with you I don't really love today's quote

I was at the coffee shop the other day and I listen to this clip like five times in a row and I'm looking for the right quote and I just couldn't find one and that very seldom happens. It's actually been years since that's happened. And I was like, I'm just going to use whatever

the audience in the clip reacted to,

which was, it's a sin to die with money.

But that quote is very easy to misinterpret. And we've talked before about the people in my

Instagram comments who are like well you can't take the money with you you might as

well spend it which which is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard before.

Like we talk about generational wealth all the time but at the same time we'll talk about

what you can't take it with you you might as well spend it that's just

ridiculous it makes no sense right and what I think he was

trying to say is like while you're still alive if you can start giving away your

money to the places you want it to go and make a plan.

So when you're gone that money goes to the right places, right?

To the right causes, to the right people, to the right family members.

Maybe it goes into a living trust, whatever it may be, but you want to be smart because your money will very likely live beyond you and you don't want to leave it up to somebody else as to what's going to

happen to your money. Robert G. Allen's coming up. All right, well let's talk about some

people who've been really good at making and keeping their money and I'm going to actually share some names with you that

in the press, if you were asking whether they were good or good people or not, you probably

have some real mixed reactions. Because the press kind of guides the way we think about wealthy people.

But I like to look at the results of what wealthy people create.
