Summary
Movie Mike and Kelsey break down the nominees for the 98th Academy Awards. Complete with predictions, snubs and surprises they feel are a slap in the face. In the Movie Review, Mike gives his thoughts on Mercy starring Chris Pratt. It takes place in the near future, where a detective stands trial accused of murdering his wife. He has 90 minutes to prove his innocence to the advanced A.I. Judge he once championed, before it determines his fate. Mike shares the one redeeming quality of the movie, why Chris Pratt was fighting for his life and why the story almost put him to sleep. In the Trailer Park, Mike talks about Crime 101 starring Chris Hemsworth, Halle Berry, Mark Ruffalo. Chris Pratt plays an elusive thief who teams up with an insurance broker for one last heist while an LA detective tries to track him down. Mike shares why the movie feels oddly familiar but still worthy of the big screen.

We have so many snacks. Beverage, coffee, we're good. Battery chargers. All the things. Honestly, shout out to my grandparents. They've given us a lot of, like, emergency weather gear. | 1:44.8 | Before the storm is when you went to see it. Can we also discuss what happened to me before the storm this week before our driveways even icy? Yes. I, so we have this weird driveway. It's like not a concrete. I think it's like an aggregate material is what my boss thinks it is. And it gets really slick when it rains. And so I was so careful all day. The day it rained. I get back from working out and I step on the driveway wrong and I go down. I'm talking hard. Like right on my elbow, I have no chance to like try to break my fall with anything. Elbow and tailbone. I come in like not fully sobbing. I think I came in pretty calm. Too calm. It was the adrenaline picked me up and got me inside and then I took a shower and cried the whole time. And then I cried a lot after. My elbow's not broken. I did have to get an x-rayed. But it is like black and blue limited range of motion. Today was the first day I could like wash my hair again. But yeah, |
| 1:48.7 | that's what I did this week. So I had to get my yearly x-ray. And I say yearly because I have had to get an x-ray every year for the past like five years because I injure myself. You're technically |
| 1:53.1 | on the men now. Yes. Hasn't gotten worse. My tailbone hurts too because I fell on that. So |
| 1:59.4 | getting up is a bit difficult because I can only |
| 2:01.8 | use like one arm. Anyways, I just need to just tell everyone, be careful. And then we'll wrap it up in |
