NFL Free Agency is right around the corner.

Franchise tags have been doled out to some.

We also got a very important running back trade yesterday,

but there are also plenty of key names for fantasy football still out there

looking for new homes as we head into the free agency period.

I'm John McRey, joined as always by PFF's lead fantasy analyst, Nathan Yonke.

And for this episode of the PFF Fantasy podcast, we'll be going over the top running backs and wide receivers expected

to hit free agency next week and kind of discuss what the fantasy implications might be. Nate,

this is really, you know, the first official phase of the off season now with like the

combine wrapped and free agency about to kind of kick off.

So how are you doing as we head into this key point of 2026?

I'm doing well. It's going to be an interesting day and interesting week.

Today is the last day that teams can use the transaction tag, the franchise tag.

So we'll see if anyone else gets tagged today.

And then there's plenty of cuts that'll probably happen between now

and next Monday as well. Could definitely impact the running back position that we're talking about today.

Aaron Jones, James Connor, two guys that are rumored to get cut. So we could have a lot of

starting running backs available in free agency this year. Yeah. And speaking of running backs,

we had the David Montgomery trade happen yesterday, right?

And it was, I think, what, a fourth round pick, a seventh round pick?

I think an offensive lineman in there as well.

And David Montgomery ends up in Houston.
