Hello and a very one. Welcome to the late breaking F1 podcast presented by Sam's age and me Ben Hocking.

Back in preview mode for the Canadian GP coming up this weekend. We just mentioned Sam that we had Miami,

which followed like a month without F1,

and then we had another like three weeks of that F1.

Finally, we're starting to get some regular F1 action starting this weekend.

Oh, it feels good to finally have some normal Formula One coming our way.

What did you mention there?

We've had, what, four Grand Prix since December 1st? Or something like that. Whenever Abu Dhabi was in December last year. Horrific. We'd be trying to get that

content out because it's not easy. But oh, Canada has come to save the day. So thank you. Can't

wait. Very exciting. Love the Canadian Grand Prix. Yes. Definitely one of your favourite, Sam, certainly in a top 10 list for me as well. So it would be excited about any race

at this point, but particularly the Canadian GP. Great to be back there for a belated round

five of the 26th championship. We moved north from Miami in the last round to the ever popular, I'm going to call it, Canadian

GP, which takes place in Montreal.

The circuit, Jill Vilna first hosted the race in 1978 and nearly 50 years later, the track

remains a constant on the calendar.

The track is something of a hybrid between a purpose-built race track and a street circuit, with some of the track

open to regular traffic outside of major race events. The track features 13 corners, many of

which are high-speed chicanes with walls, pretty close for the drivers. The most infamous being

the final two corners hosting the Wall of Champions, so named because three former champions went into the wall there in the 1999, in addition of this race.

Things at the moment looking pretty good for Mercedes. They lead both championships. They've won the first four races of the year.
