And let's take a quick look at the offseason so far for the athletics.

There hasn't been too much movement, some little moves going on here.

They acquired Jeff McNeil from the Mets.

They signed reliever Mark Leiter Jr.

They also extended Tyler Soderstrom, $86 million there.

So locking up one of the players that they developed in-house and obviously had a great

season for them last year.

Obviously, this is a transitional phase for the A's.

It looks like their offense should be really good.

But major questions on the pitching side, what are you expecting here in 2026?

I think you took the words right out of my mouth, Frank.

I mean, this offense is potent. I mean, from top to bottom, whether you have Lawrence Butler leading

off, then you've got the likes of Rooker, Langalears, Nick Kurtz, who is already the best first

basement in baseball, in my opinion. I don't think it's particularly close anymore. The next

closest has to be Freddie Freeman. This offense is going to

perform at high levels at a Sutter Health Park in 2026. Yes, the pitching has a few question marks.
