They've signed Michael Soroka to a one-year deal.

They re-signed Merrill Kelly to a two-year deal.

Just recently traded Jake McCarthy to the Rockies for pitcher Josh Gross.

Perfect timing because they also just acquired Nolan Aronado, which was obviously a big name.

He's kind of in the latter stages of his career at this point, but still a great defender.

Maybe they could squeeze some offense out of him as well. But it's just been an interesting offseason. We know that they were fielding offers for Catelle Marte. They have not brought

back Zach Gallant to this point. So I think this is an

interesting team. It felt like maybe they're going to sell. Now they're buying and trying to compete,

it looks like. What do you make of the offseason so far? What do you think about the Dback's

chances heading into 2026? Yeah, I don't feel like they've gotten done everything that maybe they

would have liked heading into the winter.

I think adding to the bullpen remains like a big priority or a huge need.

I mean, maybe it's not going to end up a priority.

It's just going to be a thing that they don't fully address.

I think that they would feel a lot better about things if they had like a proven closer

on their roster, not to mention like a seventh or eighth inning guy.
