where he will be hosting KSR a little bit later on today. So he's got three hours. He gets to do what

I do every day. Billy, it's April Fool's Day. Have you been fooled yet? I know you're very,

very gullible. You're the type of person who gets fooled on April Fool's Day. Have you been on the receiving end of one yet this morning? Not yet this morning. And I'm hoping I can keep that street going. I imagine you don't have anything planned to try to fool me this morning. Dude, you seem like somebody that would be above in April Fool's Day. I'm a straight shooter. I love a good prank, though. I do. But usually when you try to do one of these things on the radio, if you look back in history, it doesn't work well for the person trying to do the prank. Usually you end up getting suspended or you get fired, and I don't feel like getting suspended or fired today. So I'm going to spare you the April Fool's Day jokes. But for anybody listening out there, I want to know if you've ever been

on the receiving end or if you have done an April Fool's Day prank to somebody.

I want to hear your best April Fool's Day pranks for today that has happened to you or

you've done to somebody else. Have you ever had one that you were on the receiving end of? Oh, deaf, plenty. I thought you were going to ask me if I've pulled any pranks on someone else. Either way. Either way. And I really haven't. I mean, I'm kind of in the same boat as you. But yeah, Marissa's got me a couple times on April Fool's.

I guess the main one was back in 2020.

I was one of the few people still going to the office, just like you were, Shannon. And I was putting on the Andy Bashir press conferences every day.

If you remember, it was like lunch with Andy or whatever they called it,

as he told us the COVID totals every day.

And on April Fool's Day, she put a cardboard sign on the back of my car that said

honk for Andy.

And I drove into work that day and had everybody laying on the horn on me when I'm trying to go into the office on Nicholasville Road. The studio was still open there. And I'm like, what is going on? Why do people keep honking at me the entire time? And she calls me by the end of like the ride. And she's like, people have been honking at you the whole time? I'm like, yes, how do you know that? And she had ended up putting a sign on the back of my car, dude. So

harmless fun, that doesn't hurt anybody, right? But I definitely was wondering what was going on. I

guess that'd be my one today. You know, it feels like you can't really get away with that as much

today just because of social media. And, you know, if you pull a prank, at least half the people listening are not going to think it's funny. They're going to tell you you're an awful person. I remember back in the day, like a local TV station here when Rick Petino was the head coach, they came on the air and said Rick Petino was leaving. I think that was in like, what, 95 or something like that? Of course, you know,

it was true just a couple of years later when he left, actually, but, you know, going on the air

saying that, I don't know that you can really get away with that anymore. I think it was QMF or the

Fox way back in the day, Billy. I'm saying like probably early 90s, got on the air and said that like some popular band

was going to be doing like a pop-up show that night at a small venue.

And people actually believed it.
