As we enter into, I guess, what would be considered our summer shows, Billy, since the men's basketball season's over.

0:33.9

But the women's team isn't finished yet.

0:35.9

We'll get into that in just a few minutes.

1:00.5

But you and I, before we went on the air, we're talking about some of these early morning shows and how early people have to get up and how their schedules would have to be adjusted to things that most people aren't used to. Billy, if I had to come in here at 4 o'clock in the morning, I don't think I could do it. I think I would just quit. But, you know, I turn on the news sometimes. I wake up early. It's 4.30 in the morning, and there's a live local newscasts going on.

1:06.6

And I'm going, okay, how early did that person have to get up if they're on the air at 4.30 in the morning?

1:08.2

Like, what kind of schedule is that?

1:12.7

That is a – I think that would be a miserable existence to have to live on that schedule.

1:47.8

Yeah, you've got to think that you're just going to be perpetually tired no matter what you do because of your backward schedule. I don't feel like I'm awake yet this morning, Shannon. I feel like I need to splash some cold water on my face or maybe slap myself a couple times to wake up. but I can't imagine what somebody goes through like Nick Coffee, who's on the air at what, 5 a.m. And he's probably ending his show now. Like you're starting your show. You're starting your day. He's ending his. I'm not even awake. So what do you go to bed at like 6 o'clock in the afternoon? You'd have to, right? I mean, eight o'clock would be pushing it. Yeah. 8 p.m. 9 p.m.

3:41.9

You're have to, right? I mean, eight o'clock would be pushing it. Yeah. 8 p.m., 9 p.m. You're going to be tired when you wake up. So, I mean, Shannon, you're closer to that than I am. What time are you waking up to get in here to do the Jerry Eves show? I'm up by 5.30. Get up 5.30? you were asking me do I work out in the mornings? I'm going, when do I have time to work out in the morning? So I'm up at 5.30, grab a cup of coffee, catch up on what's going on, do a little show prep. Then I'm out the door. I'm in here by 7 o'clock, and I'm ready to rock. Well, I just, I can't get myself to work out in the morning, Shannon. I mean, I've done it once or twice, but I'm more of an afternoon type of guy. And then when that happens, you know, I'm taking phone calls in the sauna. And it's just crowded. Like, there's just a million people there. So maybe you should get up at 4.30, Shannon, so you can get that hour workout in before we start. That just isn't happening. Like, I've got, like, everybody's got their limits, right? Like, I can do 530. I don't like doing 530. I can make it happen, but I am not getting up any earlier than that. If I got it up any earlier, I'll just, I'll find a new gig somewhere. Like, you can do this, you can do this pre-show on your own. Yeah. Well, you know, we're not even talking about, you know, night shift workers who then have to try to sleep with the sun up, right? I mean, you've got to have the blackout curtains and completely change your day if you're going to do something like that. So a salute to everybody that listens to us on podcasts when they're working those shifts. But Shannon, now at least my schedule kind of straightens up a little bit. We won't have any more 2 a.m. post game shows that we have to do. So maybe we can start working out in the morning a little bit. There you go. All right. Well, a salute to the UK women's team. They're on to the Sweet Six team, Billy, for the first time in a decade. Big win. I don't know if you watched any of it yesterday, but that was a close one against West Virginia. And then West Virginia had a shot there at the end that didn't go down. And then it looked like the game was over. Kentucky has the ball. But then they go to the review, and they found out that in the review, it went off of of Kentucky players' leg and they had like 0.2 seconds left.

3:44.0

They tried to get a tip in.

3:45.0

Didn't happen.

3:45.5

Kentucky then moves on 74-73.

3:48.2
