| 0:36.7 | that you went out to some vented shop so i know that |
| 0:38.8 | you're not stuck in your in your house so i'm so are you getting lazy you're not coming into |
| 0:44.7 | the studio now what's going on with you well it's great to be with my insecure co-host this morning |
| 0:49.3 | um insecure about what what are you talking about well the the flowers and the whole conversation. Oh, that again. Yesterday, that was fun. Oh, okay. But, yeah, I'm definitely getting lazy, Shannon. I've got the pajama pants on. The coffee's a little better here at the house, and it is at work right now. So I've made this home base. But you're right. Yesterday was my sister's birthday. So we went out and celebrated a little bit. Took her out and got a pedicure, Shannon. Nice. And then we went out and did some shopping, went to vintage therapy. And I mean, nobody's out on the roads. Nobody's shopping. But yet Mario is there when we got there. So me and did a little I had to take a couple picks Shannon that's what the younger generation does take a couple picks for the gram you know what I mean so does you buy the vintage stuff that you had on in that picture no I didn't no I did not we just went there just to put it on and try it on but you didn't I really liked really liked the jacket, but I couldn't make a decision, did not decide to get it. |
| 1:46.7 | And then I've got strutton with Sutton on the way, which I may never take off once I get that hat, Shannon. So, I mean, I didn't need a hat, but I've thought about it. I may have to go back and I end up getting that jacket because I think it just looked too good. So this is stuff that's been used, though, right? |
| 1:59.2 | I mean, it's not something that's new that's been recreated to look vintage. |
| 2:02.4 | This is actually stuff that people had in their closet at some point. Correct. And then probably somebody died, and now you're wearing dead people's clothes. I don't know if it's just, you know, clothing just because somebody died. But yeah, these are refurbished and cleaned. Yeah. You know, you didn't got a B.O. smell on these things. Now, the fiancé loves to go to Goodwill. We'll go to Goodwill and buy stuff, Shannon. That's stuff that's like people's trash is other people's treasure, right? No, yeah. You're just kind of trying to get rid of that kind of stuff. The vintage therapy places, those are more collector |
| 2:35.2 | items. Back in college, I had buddies that love to go to these thrift stores and just get random old |
| 2:40.8 | t-shirts. And I just went with them. I don't think I ever bought anything because, again, I'm like, |
| 2:46.9 | well, this is something like literally 24 hours ago. There could have been somebody dead in the shirt. And they're like, well, we got to get rid of this. So let's just give it to the thrift shop. It always kind of felt weird for me to buy something from a thrift store. Well, there's a whole other category where they're just bins of clothes and you just have to go through these bins. Oh, forget that. At least these things are hung up and washed. Bed bugs crawling out of them and everything else. But you might find that old 1970s Coca-Cola T-shirt, Shannon, that looks better than anything that they can make nowadays. So it is like, I don't know, I think it's more of like the hunt. You know what I mean? Some people say it's the hunt when they're attracting somebody of the opposite sex or somebody that they're attracted to. |
| 3:27.3 | And then they get the hunt and they're like, well, it's over. You know? I mean, that was kind of what I was in it for. So you see that often. Well, I'm excited for your strutton with Sutton hat to come in in the mill. and we'll continue today on the pre-show with what we left off with on KSR yesterday. |
| 3:42.1 | If you have a weird piece of Kentucky... and we'll continue today on the pre-show with what we left off with on KSR yesterday. |
| 3:42.3 | If you have a weird piece of Kentucky memorabilia, we want to hear about it or we want to see it. |
| 3:47.7 | At Shannon the dude, at Billy R Sports on Twitter. |
