Primed up for another big day. It's Hump Day here, I guess, everywhere in the world in this time zone. Shannon the dude is in Louisville, Kentucky. I'm in a crowded Lexington office this morning. Shannon, it's good to see you. What's up, my man? Not much, man. What's going on in Lexington? You say it's crowded. What is there like a big boss in town? Or what's happening? Oh, not just the big boss, Shannon. All the bosses are in town today. Yeah, we got a lunch that we're all going to today. It's a big deal. Everybody's here. I've got khaki pants on, Shannon so you, GM Billy has been activated. That means guys that are looking to possibly play at Kentucky will go otherwise to other

places. You know, for the record, that guy, was it like Rippy Jr. or something like that? Apparently,

I drove away with my khaki pants, actually signed to Duke. So you could argue we needed more khaki pants when we were recruiting that guy. But, you know, nevertheless, he goes to Duke and not Kentucky. But yes, Shannon, I'm very worried about my handshake with the bosses today. There's nothing that can set you back than a bad handshake. Why are you worried about that? Because, I mean, you could go too strong and set the tongue too much. You can never go too strong. No, really? There's no too strong of a hands. I feel like when you shake hands, it is really a test of strength. You know? Like, you want to go in and see who has the best grip strength. That's what I do anyway. I dare the person shaking my hand to grip my hand harder than when I'm going to grip them. Well, I can't hurt their hand. Like, I don't want to go in and squeeze too tight. Then, I mean, that gets really awkward. If you're shaking hands with a man, you should do that because he's going to remember that. That guy is strong. He has a good, firm firm handshake here's the thing you got to look

them right in the eye all right you got to have that billy confidence don't be looking at the

don't be looking at their shoes while you shake their hand no no no no and don't go in with a

little limp hand like you want them to kiss your your hand or something like you're a princess

don't do that either that'll

give you a bad first impression no i'm not going to throw anybody under the bus but maybe like mario

or the the younger generation shannon they don't do strong handshakes they i don't know it's just not

in them i don't know if we we failed in teaching the younger generation how important a strong

handshake is well coven COVID made everything weird, too.

Like, I had sort of a weird interaction with, okay, just behind the scenes, in OVW and wrestling, you go up, you shake people's hands. That's what they do. It's like an old school tradition. You go in, you shake everybody's hands. The wrestlers or the people? Yes, the peopleers. Everybody in the building. I mean, you're touching everybody's hands when you're in a wrestling locker room.

That's just when you're in a wrestling locker room.

Okay?

That's just what you do.
