1:28.8	over the past five years. The cases with updates are Nancy Doherty, Christy Merack, Bobby Joe
1:35.1	Oberholzer, and Annette Schnee, April Tinsley, and Maurice Chivorella. If you haven't listened to

1:45.7	In an exciting update, the retrial of Michael Carbo for the murder of Nancy Doherty wrapped up with Carbo being convicted of her murder for a second time.
1:54.9	The IgG was not the reason for the retrial and has not been an issue since it was challenged in pre-trial number one proceedings.
2:01.8	Carbo got a new trial because the appeals court ruled that the trial judge should have allowed
2:06.7	his defense to present an alternative perpetrator theory. The alternative suspect was Nancy's ex,
2:12.9	Brian E. So the state had to put on a whole new trial, and Brian E. was grilled on the stand, something he
2:19.0	avoided in trial number one. Carbo also took the stand and claimed he had no recollection at all
2:24.5	the night Nancy died, but that he must have had a consensual, sexual encounter with Nancy.
2:30.4	Judge Friday noted that based on Carbo's own testimony, quote, he, by his own admission,
2:35.7	has no idea whether he did or did not kill Ms. Doherty.
2:39.8	Carbo was again found guilty because he is.
2:42.6	Carbo remained unrepentant and defiant, telling the judge,
