at what we think is going to happen here in the 2025 Monster Energy, AMA Supercross and

SMX World Championship Series, which kicks off very soon. I'm joined by a guy who knows a thing

or two about winning these things. It's Mr. Rick Johnson, RJ. Thanks for joining me, buddy.

Always a pleasure, Ping. I mean, so much to talk about. I mean, between we've had some World Supercross events where we've seen Eli Tomak there,

we've seen, you know, some of the other writers there, as well as what are the Lawrence

Brothers doing?

So let's start.

Well, and before we jump into that, I want to ask you what your thoughts are, you know, this has been a topic for a long time about the series just seems

to keep getting longer and longer. And it doesn't seem to be much of an offseason at all anymore.

We roll right out of the end of the nationals and SMX into the motocross of nations, which

goes right into whether you're going to Paris or you're going to Australia or you're going to

wherever. And I know it was, you know, back in your era, you guys were doing a lot, probably more racing in Europe in the offseason.

But the season here was a little shorter.

It seemed like there was kind of gaps in between races a bit more.

What are your thoughts on that overall? if they really had the best interest of the sport and riders in mind, they would say, all right, let's take the Nationals to 10,

let's take Supercross to 15,

we can leave the three SMX rounds.

That gives everybody a little bit more breaks.

And just, man,

give the guys a month.

Give them a month at the end of the year, you know?
