Preseason watch list continues with the Detroit Lions.

It's Jared Goff and Company.

We already know everything that they do with Detroit, but now without Ben Johnson.

Is it same as it ever was, Bloom, or cause for slight concern at all?

Oh, there's some cause for concern.

We can't assume that Ben Johnson didn't take with him the real special sauce, but John

Morton is there.

And when you look at Ben Johnson and who he hired as an offensive coordinator, Declan

Doyle, from John Payton staff, and who did Dan Campbell hire from the staff, John

Morton.

And remember, Dan Campbell really learned to be head coach under Sean Payton in New Orleans.

So this is six degrees of Sean Payton.

But what has John Morton said?

Now, we've only seen him for like one year as a Jets Offensive Warwick.

So it's hard to say what we're going to see from John Morton.

And we shouldn't assume that whatever we saw in the past, he's already, he's inheriting

something that's already well formed and conceived.

What does he want to change?

He wants more explosive plays, more big plays.

And that's Jameson Williams.

But we've also heard him already single out Sam Leporta.
