I welcome on week two playoff edition of Hollinger and Duncan. John just flew in to whatever hotel he's in in San Francisco. We are within 10 miles of one another as we record that's going to go to game six of Houston and Golden State tonight. But much has transpired since we last spoke. And we'll get to all of

that playoff, minutia, all the stuff you love to hear us talk about on Hollinger and Duncan.

And Danny and I will probably talk more about Greg Popovich's legacy, the fact that he has

officially stepped down as Spurs coach.

But the news that Mitch Johnson will be taking over, what was your

reaction to that? Big Bill Guthridge vibes, who was the guy who took over from Dean Smith before

North Carolina pivoted to Roy Williams. You know, it seems like this was done with Pops

endorsement as our Joe Bart barden uh is in the process

of reporting um and that that may have even been like part of the deal yeah well pop is the president

of basketball operation yeah so i yeah it would seem he made this decision or was certainly very involved.

Yeah, yeah.

But I'm just not sure how long.

I mean, you're dealing with Victor Wemba, Yama's prime here.

Like, you're going to get to a point where you can't mess around.

And Mitch Johnson, I mean, the reviews, I would say, are pretty middling at best so far.

I mean, we'll see how he does this year with a full season and training camp and everything
