Washington, here with you guys once again for another grades release episode of the YouTube channel.

0:28.4

We're going to do here on the shows. We're going to go through the top five graded players that we

0:31.3

have from every single game in week 14. We'll tell you the staff that told the story.

0:34.6

Give you our most impressive, most disappointing,

0:38.2

all that good stuff.

Talton, how are we doing? Busy weekend for you with the college football, the final college football playoff bracket, obviously championship weekend, everything. So how are you doing on sleep, my friend? Pretty good, actually. Pretty good. There wasn't as many. Only nine college games in total this week. Right. It's okay. it's a little bit less. They mean more, but it's a little bit less. And only what, five or six of them that affected the playoff and in between just all of the arguing that continues to happen even after the fact is fun. But you know the theme to me this weekend, does it feel like college and NFL, does it just feel like everything's upside down? right you got teams in college like Indiana and Texas Tech winning a conference for the first time in 80 years or whatever. You got right now Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson

1:17.3

and Joe Burrow currently out of the playoff picture. That feels weird. I mean, this just feels like

1:22.4

everything's backwards right now and we're just trying to piece it all together on both fronts.

1:26.4

It is. It's an exciting time of year because this is the case.

1:31.1

And I feel like in the past, there have been runaways by a lot of these great quarterbacks.

1:36.0

And obviously watching great quarterback performances, which we'll talk about all of them in-depthly, obviously.

1:40.3

But people enjoy that and it's fun.

1:42.7

But I feel like anytime that's the case, we all kind of say the same thing. Well, I can't wait for the playoffs. All right. Well, let's just skip to the playoffs, right? Okay, well, the rest of these games don't really matter. Let's just see who's hosting in the AFC or the conference championships or getting the Super Bowl or whatever. This year, I don't feel that way. This year, it really is every single week there are things to care about. Because we've got the Broncos, all due respect to everything that they've done, the Patriots, the same way, where they have these incredible records right now. But I think that some people are still like, yeah, but is there going to be a little bit of a falloff before they get

2:17.7

into the playoffs? Like how are they going to finish out the regular season? Like what's going to happen here? Because to your point, there's just so much new. We're going to talk about a lot of that new here on the shows. We go through all the numbers, all the data that we saw from this past week. You guys can do that too using the promo code holiday 30 you can get 30% off a PFF plus

2:45.5

regular season and into the playoffs. And then once we hit the off season, well, that's my favorite

2:50.0

time of the year. Then you get the free agency tools, the fully unlocked mock draft simulator, our draft guide, all that great stuff. So if you don't have a PFF plus subscription, get 30% off right now with one using that promo code, Holiday 30. We got a lot of games that we're going to get to here, but we start as we always do with Sunday night football. And you mentioned that the chiefs were one of those teams, Pashtam Holmes, on the outside looking in right now in a major way below 500. Now they're in a spot where they have been eliminated from winning the AFC West, which means that for the first time in, God, what is it? Nine years, isn't it didn't they win nine in in a row? I thought it might even even longer than that. We'll look this up at a second. I thought it was nine. 2015, it was Denver. And then hasn't it been nine since then? Okay, so it would have been nine since then. All right. So almost a decade of Kansas City Chief's dominance in this division. and we know that we're going to crown a new champion in that division. It's because the Houston Texans defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in this game by a score of 20 to 10. So the top five grad of players for the Texans as winners of this game. Number one, safety, Jalen Petrie, 90.5 overall grade. He was all over the field last night. Now, I'll dig into him a little bit more. He's my most impressive. So I'll talk about him a little bit more in a second. But defensive tackle, Sheldon Rankin's right behind him with an 82.6. Defensive tackle Tommy Togiye with an 82.2. Edge rusher, Will Anderson Jr. is 785. And then Edd Rush of Daniel Hunter, a 73.2. C.J. Stroud in this game of 58.9. And again, just to remind everybody of the PFF grade scale, a neutral grade is a 60.0. So C.J. Stroud right around that neutral grade. And I think if you watched last night, a lot of struggles with the offensive line, CJ really just could not do a lot. That grade kind of checks out there from what we were watching when we were watching it live. On Kansas City side of things, defensive tackle, Chris Jones. Man, he looked like Hall of Fame Chris Jones last night. And it's kind of crazy that even that wasn't enough for them to get the win. He had a 90.3 overall grade. Offensive guard Kingsley, Sue Matahia, with a 78.9. linebacker Drew Tranquil, a 782. Edge rusher, George Karloftis is 78.0. And then rounded it out at number five, linebacker Nick Bolton, a 76.7. Patrick Holmes in this game, 65.0. Dolan, what was your staff that told the story here? I think the lesson here, and I think we've known this for probably the better part of a year and a half. But there is only so much Patrick Mahomes can do to save this team. And the defense put forth a good enough effort to win this game. I thought they were putting a couple of bad spots in the fourth quarter with Andy Reed and the fourth down calls that were made. But either way, the defense was good enough. Mahomes, he's trying to carry this offense. We've known all year that they can't run the football. But the big stat for me, if Mahomes has to carry and you can't run it, you've got to be better as a receiving core. 53.1 receiving grade in this game, worst in two years here for Kansas City. So you look at only 19 yards after contact after the catch, right?

5:39.9

One miss tackle forced.
