| 0:00.0 | What's going on everybody? Welcome back back to the PFNFL show. |
| 0:57.7 | Jefferson, I'm a Dalton Washington here with you guys to recap everything that we saw in week 12. So far, we've still got Monday Night Football to go. Got a big game between the Carolina Panthers and the San Francisco 49ers. But we're talking about all the games that, of course, we have already seen the results for. We're going to give you the top five graded players for every single team as we talk about stats that told the story, most disappointing, most impressive, all that good stuff. How the results got to where they were? Dolan, how you doing, my friend? Pretty good, pretty good. We're getting a little more clarity on this playoff picture, aren't we? It's just we had a lot of big games yesterday, a lot of big comebacks yesterday, a lot of results that in the first half of games, you might not have thought had gone down with. |
| 1:01.4 | That's the NFL. You've got to play all 60 minutes and some. So it was really fun day yesterday, |
| 1:06.4 | and we got another fun one coming tonight. There were a lot of full 60 minute type of games, right? |
| 1:44.9 | I mean, the Colts and the Chiefs, obviously with that game going to overtime, we'll talk about sort of what the second half in the fourth quarter specifically was with Indianapolis and how the Chiefs were able to get that major win for them. The Giants with James Winston coming out hot and then the Lions obviously storming back. Of course, the Cowboys, the Eagles, we're going to talk about all that great stuff and so much more. | 2:51.9 | Let's start. Dalton, unfortunately, was Sunday night football. Shout to the boss man, Chris Collinsworth, on his 500th game that he was calling in the NFL last night on Sunday night football. And unfortunately, my Tampa Bay Buccaneers didn't exactly give him a lot to talk about on their side of things. The Rams, who look like the best team in the NFL, right? I mean, like, they just, they look like world beaters right now. They win this game huge. 34 to 7 was the final score, but it was basically over at halftime. Let's look at the top five graded players that we had for the Los Angeles Rams in this game. Look at the guy who's number one on their list. |
| 2:54.0 | Emmanuel Forbes. |
| 2:55.1 | Playing like a first round pick? |
| 2:57.5 | Playing like a first round pick. |
| 3:01.7 | He was not when he was in Washington, but my goodness is he with the Rams. And I think that in and of itself is such an encapsulation of when you were a good |
| 3:06.5 | organization with a good coaching staff, |
| 3:08.5 | you get talented players is what could happen. He had a 92.4 overall grade on Sunday night football. |
| 3:13.9 | Cornerback Kobe Durant with a 90.6 defensive tackle Kobe Turner with an 87.3. Wide |
| 3:18.6 | receiver pooping Nakua an 86.3 defensive tackle, Braden Fiske and 844, and then Matthew Stafford, the front runner for MVP, |
| 3:26.5 | and I think deservingly so with an elite 91.5. You were just nodding your head there as the |
| 3:33.2 | graphic is on the screen here. So you agree with the MVP. Completely. Right now, I don't think |
| 3:38.3 | there's an argument with six weeks left. It's about as good as it gets. Staff that told the story here for you. Look, I think like you mentioned, this game was over by half time. |
| 3:47.2 | When you look at the offensive grades in the first half, the Rams 88.9, which is just ridiculous as a team. The Bucks 58.1. The defensive grades, 89.9 for the Rams, 61.8 for the bucks, 7.7 yards per play to 2.6. |
| 4:02.8 | And look, I just think when you look at this Rams team right now, you mentioned it they're the best team in football. |
| 4:07.6 | There isn't really one stat that encapsulates this right now. And you look at how close they are really to being actually 12 and 0 instead of 10 and 2. You're a block field goal and a fumble at the one yard line on a Thursday night game against San Francisco for being 12 and 0. This team's got everything. They've got a Hall of Fame quarterback. You've got two dynamite receivers and a bunch of tight ends and backs that can run the ball. The offensive line looks better than last year. The only question I had was pass protection, but they've at least gotten that to an average level of late. They're doing enough. They're doing enough and Stafford gets rid of the football and sees the field so well that you don't have to be outstanding in pass protection. You don't have to be the best pass protection team in the league. And then you've got a great front seven. You got linebackers like Nate Landman and Omar Spades who have emerged as secondary. They're leading the league in coverage grade. That was the other question we had on defense, or number one in coverage grade right now. It's starting to feel a lot like Philadelphia's run felt last year, where it was just how do you beat this team? You just have to play a perfect game and they've got everything in all facets at this point. This right now is the best team in football. They dismantled the bucks last night. No, I was saying this a couple of weeks ago. Has there been a game where they've really been outplayed? Because again, you go to the Eagles game that they lost. I thought were the better team in that game. They just have the special teams blunders and that's why they end up losing. And then the Niners game, like I don't want to take take anything away from the 49ers in that one. Obviously, it was a close game back and forth, but you've got the Rams who fumble the ball at the goal line. And I think they had another funble in that game, or another turnover in that game, if I remember correctly, like, I thought front to back, they were also the better team in that game. So it's hard for me to remember a game this season that they have played where I didn't go, yeah, that was actually the better team. It would them have two losses here. No, there has not been a game. And they've just been dominating everybody lately. They've won, what is this, six games in a row. Sorry, five of their last six games outside of the Seattle game by double digits. |
