It's fun to preview and everything like you mentioned. I think we get to the point now where we can just talk about the games. And that's really to me the best part of it, right? Previewing these games, obviously getting to come back on Monday and going over all of them and how they all went down. And the reasons why teams won or lost, because that's really what it's about here is the win-lost record and trying to win a championship. So really excited, and I think, you know, we're going to have another fun season with the NFL starting tomorrow. It's so close with just over 24 hours away. It's going to be a lot of fun. We got Thursday games. We got Friday games. We got the Saturday slate and college football, of course. We're going straight into the Sunday games.

We're definitely ready to break it down here. The audio, I guess, was having a little bit of issue. I see you guys in the comments, which, first of all, salute to everybody who's in the comments right off the bat here on the show. We appreciate you. We love you guys. Thanks for rocking with us and hanging out as we preview this week.

So just so you guys know, of course, the schedule is we're breaking out all 16 games here. And we're going to be joined by Toronto Armstead, the all pro, the pro bowler himself. He's going to give us his favorite trench matchups that he is looking at this weekend. The one that he's highlighting this week, it's doozy. It's the one that all the headlines are talking about. So we get to have some expertise there from somebody in the trenches who knows it, who knows it very, very well. All right. Well, Dalton, this is going to be a monster of a show. So we might as well get into it. We might as well just jump right into it. By the way, if you guys are out there watching and you don't have a PFF plus subscription,

1:43.5

Not just your own team, but also, hey, who might my favorite team be playing this week?

1:47.3

What are they good at? team. It's also a great way to keep up with your favorite team as well. Not just your own team,

2:01.3

but also, hey, who might my favorite team be playing this week? What are they good at? How are they

2:05.4

in coverage? Are they good as pass rush? How are they in run blocking? All that kinds of stuff.

get yourself one, maximize the entire season here. It's a lot of information that I know that you guys are going to love. Let's start off with what is going to get this season kicked off, quite literally, full pun intended. And that is the Dallas Cowboys at the Philadelphia Eagles, the defending champions, kicking things off here. We get a divisional match, Cowboys and Eagles. I mean, it's a rivalry.

2:35.0

There's so much on the lines. Two of the biggest fan bases in the NFL. And I'm very excited for this one. So the way that we're going to go through these preview shows is we're each going to kind of take a different side of the ball. We're going to sort of focus on one team. So Dalton, I'm going to let you kick it off here. which side of the ball you want to focus on,

2:31.8

which team do you want to focus on the most

2:33.5

when it comes to Cowboys and Eagles,

2:35.3

what matters most for you here in this Thursday night matchup? So, I mean, there's a lot of dimension of this game from the Cowboys angle, from trading Micah Parsons to the run defense struggling and needing to just keep themselves in this game. And I think one thing that could help them, I think the most beneficial thing that's happened to the Cowboys this offseason was trading for George Pickens. And I think what that does more so than Pickens himself being a deep threat, which he's going to get his shots throughout the season. It opens everything else up for C.D. Lamb and it creates space for Dak Prescott underneath. I think there's actually multiple factors in this. Pickens creating space, taking safeties off the top of the defense. Jake Ferguson being healthy as well.

3:29.2

C.D. Lamb getting more separation with defenses not solely focusing on him. And I think where

3:34.1

Dax's going to have to attack this defense is in the intermediate areas of the field, 10 to 19 yards.
