Georgia adds a big time trio from the transfer portal.

And Oklahoma gets a stud young defensive lineman to take his name out of the portal and stay in Norman.

All that and more.

Yeah. stay in Norman. All that and more. Cranny Cup. This NFL Draft Week and the hot takes and mock drafts will be flowing,

which does nothing but just add to the fun and mystique of this time of year.

But the reason I love the draft so much is the same reason I love high school recruiting more than the transfer portal in college football. It's because it's the hardest projection that you have to make. You are having to

basically guesstimate how a player will perform at a higher level. And with free agency in the NFL,

you have tape on how that guy and that player is performed at your current level. It's the exact same

thing in college football with the portal,

because most of the time the film is against teams that we'll probably see again or something close to it. That's what makes drafting such an art form, and the best GMs and scouting personnel people,

true artists. So let's sit back and enjoy arguing about what our canvas would look like

if we were given the opportunity to draft
