We come to you this morning on the Mike Francesa channel on the BetRivers Network on YouTube, as we are a day away from the start of the baseball season,

we know it began early in another country.

But that was just two games.

Baseball is back tomorrow.

And the locals are both being in action at 3 and 4 o'clock, respectively.

The Yanks at home, the Mets in Houston, and we will get the season underway.

And, you know, baseball is unlike any other sport.

There's nothing, first of all, for most of us, at least of any age,

baseball is what you grew up with. It's your first sport. It's your first love. Because it's the

sport you learn first. It's the sport you play first. You might have played midget football, but again, baseball was the most intense part of your upbringing. And that is usually the case. That may have changed in recent years as the other sports have become like soccer and basketball have become more prominent.

But still baseball is a very big part of that.

And what makes baseball so different is it's like a book that you turn the page every day.

It's with you every day.

And for a lot of people, it is a constant companion. They wait and it is a very big part of their day. And when you

realize that when they take in or consume the pregame show, the ball game, the post game show,

that's a good five, five and a half hours, maybe even on a given day, six hours of their day committed to baseball.

Add that you could often have a game in a day and game at night.

And you can have wall-to-wall baseball most days of the week.

And it's there for you. Every day of the week you can have wall-to-wall baseball most days of the week. And it's there for you.
