0:06.0	Oh, baby, you can feel it. You can taste it. Opening day is almost upon us. And on this very special episode of RICOBronia, episode number 452, the last thing we should discuss before this baseball season starts is to put our

0:27.8	And we do that on this MLB predictions edition of Rico Bronia.
0:33.2	We will pick the division winners.
0:35.0	We will pick the playoff teams.
0:36.6	We will pick the eventual world champion. We'll even pick the MVP and the division winners. We will pick the playoff teams. We will pick the eventual world champion.
0:39.3	We'll even pick the MVP and the Cy Young.
0:42.0	But before we get started, it's only fair to look back at last year and see how wrong or right we were.
0:49.6	So I pulled up a document.
0:51.2	These are my 2024 MLB predictions just to see how I did.
0:56.6	The one thing I feel very good about is I did have the New York
0:59.9	Mets making the playoffs as the third wildcard team.
1:03.3	It was an optimistic view at the time because we did not go into the
1:06.7	2024 season with a lot of optimism. But I did have them winning 86 games, sneaking into the
1:12.1	postseason and losing in the wild card round to the National League Central Division
1:16.8	champion, St. Louis Cardinals. Obviously, I got that very wrong. I had the Brewers winning only
1:23.2	78 games. I got that very wrong. As far as the NL East was concerned, I did have the Braves
1:28.5	winning the division with 100 wins. They obviously faced a lot of injuries. I was 11 games off
1:33.3	of that one and the Phillies winning 90 games and finishing in second place. So all three teams
1:39.5	did make the playoffs. I had all three teams making the playoffs, but clearly I got the win
1:43.5	totals slightly wrong, very wrong with the Cardinals in the NL Central. In the NL West, and I deserve
