Hello, everyone and welcome back to Park Car Convos. I'm Maddie Mitchell and I am your host today and always because well, quite frankly,

this is literally my podcast. So who else is going to host it? Happy freaking Monday and happy

freaking New Year. I can't believe it's 2025. I hope you guys had a fabulous weekend. I hope you

had a fabulous. Hopefully some of you guys were able to get some time off over the past couple weeks to rest and relax and recharge and spend time with loved ones and eat really good food.

So I hope that you are feeling ready to tackle whatever life might throw at you for the next year.

And I don't think that that's asking too much of your favorite podcast host.

Wow. Feels good to say that in 2025. I haven't actually

sat down to record an episode in a grip because I batched a few episodes because I knew that the

holidays would be hectic and I wouldn't be able to sit down and chat. And I was really glad that

I did that, although message to future Maddie, you should have

batched an additional episode because with peace and love, I mentally am still on my Christmas break

right now. So it was like, this Monday came as like a real shock to my system. I was like, oh,

right. And I don't have an episode for that Monday. So I, so I guess I have to record it.

Because that's what happens. When you don't have an episode, you have to record it. And yeah, that was like a little joltz because I decided that my new year

doesn't start until today that you guys are listening to this, January 6th. I'm going to go riot at

the Capitol and then I'm going to get on with my new year. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. Don't report me. Um, but yeah,

that's, that's kind of was my consensus. And that was because it just didn't feel like starting

the new year on a Wednesday, no thanks. I'm going to have to wait until the closest Monday.

And then I'll begin my new year celebration. So today is actually the first day of my own personal

new year. So happy Maddie's new year to everyone. Yeah, I hope you're, I hope you're all doing well.

It just, it just feels like a while since we've chatted. So I'm excited for today's episode.
