Hello and a very warm welcome to the late breaking F1 podcast presented by Harry Eid, Sam Sage, and me, Ben Hocking.

Today, reviewing the spring qualifying at the Chinese Grand Prix session where the Ferrari of Lewis Hamilton has ended up on pole position.

Before we get there, though, this is our first episode recording since the very sad passing of Eddie Jordan, former team boss in F1, former pundit as well.

And if you're a long time listener of the podcast, you'll have heard his name come up quite a few times. We're all very, very fond of him as we've grown up around this sport.

So before we get on with our review, Sam, a few words on Eddie Jordan. Yeah, a real hero,

a maverick, a proper pioneer of F1 to run a team in the way that he did

up against some of the giants of the automotive world. But it wasn't just the way he ran in Formula

1. It was who he was as a person, the slightly manic behavior, the outlandish comments, and

the way he seemed to always be so welcoming and wonderful

to absolutely everyone, but would absolutely be incredibly cutthroat the moment he needed to being.

It always felt like the most appropriate moment. I think the thing that encapsulates

Eddie Jordan, all in one, was a Monaco Grand Prix not too long ago where they were showing some morning
