I first have to start by saying,

sorry that we didn't put out an episode last week,

but it was the holidays,

and well, we forgot.

Well, yeah.

We tried, but not really.

That was our Christmas present to ourselves.

We took the week off.

We did, and I hope everybody at home did as well, and I hope everybody had a happy holiday.

So we're coming in today at that beautiful time between Christmas and New Year's Eve.

I call it the taint of the calendar year.

And I knew you would react like that because you're always such a like,

ah, she grabs her pearls. But the truth is, this nebulous little period between the holidays is literally the taint of the calendar. It is so weird. And I see a lot of comments and stuff,

when people are feeling the same way that I am. And I'm not sure what to do with myself.

Well, I think historically it's a transitional period, right?

And that's why we kind of like to look at the Yule season as a transition period with the

return of the sun and all these things.

And they say that it does leave people in a weird headspace.

No, for sure.

Aside from that, I think everyone's so busy all the time. And then all of a sudden, you shut down for the holidays and you're around family and stuff, which you're just not a lot. And it's a weird period. Yeah. And I think that can stir up a lot. Like, the holidays on their own can stir up a lot of positive and a lot of negative. It's deeply reflective,
