Indeed, the schedule has been formatted somewhat similarly ever since the introduction of the in-season tournament.

But I did notice a couple of tweaks this year.

When the schedule comes out, what are some of the first things that you're looking for?

I'm always looking at what are the extended stretches where the team is on the road

and what are the extended stretches where the team is at home?

How manageable are those long road trips?

Obviously, there's the Grammy trip every year.

But the Lakers almost always have another road trip where it's like, oh, this is another

week and a half on the road or something like that. And it's like, oh, this is another week and a half on the road or something like that.

And it's like, okay, well, how manageable is that?
