It is great to be with you today back from vacation myself for show number 983 of the KSR

pre-show. It is also the first day of fall. Its scarves are back in season, so it is perfect for my co-host, Shannon, the dude, who is in Louisville, has been holding down the fort while I've been gone. What's up, Shannon? I can tell there's like an energy in your voice from taking off a week and doing nothing, right?

Well, you're hitting a sensitive subject right off the top here because we recorded the NFL cover zero podcast last night.

And Matt had me introduce the games for this week's episode. And about halfway through the episode, he goes, Billy, why are you doing this old radio-timey voice right now? Oh, you were doing it last night? I was doing it last night. So you don't know you're doing it, but you're doing it. I guess. And so I'm going up and down. and Curly Joe here in the bottom of the third is curveball is going to come in on a three-two pitch. So I did it for half the show last night. They called me out. And so the next time I ran a game, I went, okay, here we go. Bucks and Jets, monotone Billy coming out. But I guess I've just got the old school radio timey energy with me in these last

two days, Shannon. Well, how was your, you went to a wedding, right? How was that? Yeah. So I kind of went

all around the United States, drove to Harbor Springs, Michigan for a wedding on Lake Michigan,

Shannon. And that is just a beautiful part of the country that we probably don't spend enough time.

It's just good to get away.
