Hi everybody. Welcome to the final Peter Shift Show podcast for

2023 and I'm bringing it to you commercial free from my home here in Connecticut.

You know, I did have a studio here,

but I had some water damage.

The studio was in my basement and some water got in and you know I always talk on the

podcast about how homes are money pits. It's not all appreciation. There's a lot of expense when you're a homeowner and one of them is water in the

basement and so they've been working on redoing the floor in that whole room and it's taking

a lot longer than I expected. So I haven't been able to redo my Connecticut

studios so I'm just doing the podcast again from my laptop down in the game room of my of my basement. But this is the last

podcast for 2023. I am off to Colorado in a few more days January 3rd and we're going to be out there for a week doing some skiing something I have not done in quite some time so hopefully my 60 year old body can handle

can handle the snow and the altitude but we'll be there for a week and then I'll be back in

Puerto Rico on January 10th. So don't expect a

podcast. I might do one. It's possible, but I could do one from the place that I rented. I may do that depending on what happens but if I'm too busy and you don't get one then then that's what then that's why but I'm definitely going to be doing them when I get back.

2024 I think is going to be a very very interesting year and they say you know it's good to live in interesting times. It's an old Chinese

proverb and I think we're going to be living through a very interesting year to say the least in 2024. It's an election year and who knows I mean

this could be a crazy election. You know I was just looking at predicted and finally the odds of Trump winning are the same as the odds of Biden winning.

And I've been saying for a while

that I thought Trump was a good bet on predicted

because he was not favored.

He was behind many, many points, and so he's caught up.
