What's up and welcome into the OBR film breakdown. I'm your host, Jake Burns here with

Andrew Spade. It is your Wednesday, May 8th edition of the podcast. We keep getting hints that the NFL is going to drop the schedule later this week, yet we've heard nothing really concrete. So we're kind of like preparing that the NFL maybe is going to do something on the schedule Thursday, Friday. I don't know.

Like Thursday probably makes the most sense. We'll see what ultimately comes of that, but not like the NFL is like pulled back their

media department in any way, shape, or form lately if you haven't been paying attention

as they just keep taking things away from the NFL network.

But we'll see if those rumors are true.

We want to hit on a topic around the schedule.

And that's a little bit of what I want to start with, Andrew, is the idea of last year's strength of schedule. But before we get there, man, I welcome you in. And I should always start with the stern. What's up? How are you? I'm doing well, Jake. Thanks for inviting me in. Yeah, it's just that time of year of year right we'll just keep talking about it every

day that there's it just feels like there's not a ton happening the schedule release and then

yeah obviously rookie mini camps so there is some but yeah i'm doing good it's warm here so

this feels like summer feels like not a time of year to be talking about football.

But here we are.

We're going to crush it.

The Browns are, the thing that I've noticed is that as we look at the schedule

release, it's important to kind of look at what people think the hardest schedules

are.

I am a fan more so of going off of 2024's Vegas win projections because I think that gives you a better accurate

depiction of what a team has done in the offseason, who should be better, et cetera, et

cetera. Obviously, you get into the season and there's a bunch of luck variables and it starts

to shift immediately in the season. But in terms of like three ways to look at it, you have the

end season shifting of injuries and things

in time of year in which you play a team you have the after draft after the off season win total
