What's going on everybody, Trevor Sykima and Ollie Connolly here with you guys to recap sort of what we saw in week 18,

but more of just what we saw this entire 2024 season in the final episode of In the Trenches here for the regular season.

And to do so, we're going to cap it off the only way we know how by giving out some awards and superlatives. So we're going to be recognizing a ton of different

trench players. We've got all sorts of common awards that you guys are used to. Edge Rusher of the

year, Interior Defense Lyman, offensive tackle of the year. But we've also got a lot of fun ones.

Ollie came up with a ton of fun, different awards that we have to recognize some of these

guys where, all right, okay, you got to give it to this guy at the very top because of the year

that he's had. But there's been so much great trench play around the NFL that we're giving

ourselves a chance to shout out a lot more guys to. Ollie, this is, when you sent me the list of

potential awards and the names and everything like that, we don't have time to get to all of them but i'm so excited to do this show man how you doing my friend i'm doing good i feel sad that the

regular season has come to an end uh or an unbelievable year of trench play i was saying to john the

day that um there was this time right when we had this real panic about what offensive line plays

like in the nfl and then when you get to our first couple of categories, it's like best offensive tackle,

best interior alive.

And I'm looking at my list being like, this thing runs 15 deep.

And I got to pick between some of the greatest players to ever play the game.

So I'm excited to run through and leave for posterity what I think has been both on the

offensive side of the ball, on the defensive side of the ball, one of the truly great trenches.

So we'll start with the common awards, I would say, the ones that everybody knows pretty well.

We're going to be talking about a ton of different PFF statistics as we go through this exercise.

We look at the film.
