Hello. Hello and a very warm welcome to the late-breaking F-1 podcast presented by Sam Sage and me, Ben Hocking, on what is today the review of the qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix,

0:42.0

which you might be able to tell we're doing at 90% volume because we'd like to keep our partners at half-past six in the morning.

0:47.8

Yeah, well, I think I'm at about 30% volume

0:50.3

because I also have a neighbour downstairs

0:52.2

who will absolutely march up and crucify me.

0:55.4

And I'm, you know, folks, if you've been around a while, you know, I'm not the quietest of

1:56.8

usually are. And even early in qualifying, it seemed fairly close. But as soon as Q3 rolled

2:02.5

around, Max Verstappen really asserting his advantage, Sergio Perez in third, Landon Norris

2:08.5

in fourth, with Charles LeClair in fifth, rounding out the top five. From Verstappen's perspective,

2:13.8

obviously him on pole position, not a massive shock in modern Formula One, Sam, but in terms of the

2:19.0

margin itself, surprised at how big that was? Yeah, I am surprised. Two and a bit tense is it's not

2:28.6

nothing in Formula One in any other sport. You might go, well, that's the blink of an eye,
